We would like to inform you that the Government of India (Bureau of Immigration, Ministry of Home Affairs) has introduced a Digital Arrival Card for all foreign nationals and OCI card holders arriving in India, effective 1st October 2025. Travelers can now complete the Disembarkation (Arrival) Card either: 1. Digitally – up to 72 hours before arrival via the official portal https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/earrival/ OR 2. The “Indian Visa Su-Swagatam” mobile app, OR 3. Physically – upon arrival in India. This initiative aims to streamline the immigration process and minimize wait times at the counters. The physical form will remain available until the digital system is fully stabilized (for up to six months).
