Dear Friends, Greetings from Travel Spirit International ! Further to our communication dated 17th December 2025 regarding mobile phone restrictions in tiger reserves in Madhya Pradesh, we would like to share an important update concerning Ranthambore Tiger Reserve (RTR). With effect from 1st February 2026, the Forest Department of Rajasthan, following directions from the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, has implemented a complete ban on the use of mobile phones inside the core tourism zones of Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. This applies to: * Tourists * Safari vehicle drivers * Guides * Naturalists * All safari participants The ban covers Zones 1 to 10 and all designated safari routes within the reserve. Phones must be deposited with the guide/driver or at the safari entry point before the start of the safari. The restriction is intended to minimize disturbance to wildlife, reduce crowding of vehicles at sightings as people often call other gypsies when a Tiger is sighted at one location, and enhance visitor safety and conservation efforts. We request you to inform your clients well in advance to avoid any inconvenience during their safari experience at Ranthambore. Thank you for your continued support. |
